Superb afro album by Nigerian “griot” Gasper Lawal. Two great cuts here : “Kita Kita” jazzy and psychedelic afrobeat and “Awon ojise oluwa” sensual jazz groove with electric piano and beautiful chant & chorus. Influenced by Fela of course, but with its own sound.
