Very interesting and obscure LP recorded in France and filled with african and indian percussions with chants. Heavy rhythms and tons of breaks, especially on the loud and percussive afro treasure “Mussels in Action” (oh what a funny title). It will put you in a transe ! Some good French musicians are involved in this project, such as Serge Franklin, Marc Chantereau and Michel Delaporte. Sound is close to Delaporte’s “Stoned Drums” LP or Incredible Bongo Band’s 2nd album. Rare !
