Wow ! A pretty cool discovery to me. On my way of finding Iranian groove I was stuck when I’ve first heard this incredible album by Dia Prometido, a duo composed of an Iranian and a Chilean, backed by a “pop band”. Including the hard oriental groove of “Hava naguila”, a psychedelic version of this Hebraic folkloric tune. Also on the LP, a cover of “Strangers in the Night”, “Indio baha’i” and a few others… A few superficial marks on the vinyl, plays excellent.
