A rare Indian soundtrack from the late 60’s, released on the collectible label Angel. Superb jazz exotica with vibraphone that reminds me a lot of “Afro Latin Soul” by Mulatu and his Ethiopian Quintet. Eight vocal tracks sung by Mohd Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle and Manna Dey. Four instrumental tunes (or background music) called “Love Theme Music”, “Sad Theme Music”, “Dance Music” and “Title Music”. Excellent pop with guitar and strings, nice piano (latin) jazz with arabic influences. The finest 60’s exotica from Bollywood !
