Does it really need an introduction ? Extended versions of the funkiest tunes by Herbie Hancock and The Headhunters, recorded in japan in the mid 70’s. “Maiden Voyage”, “Actual Proof”, “Spank a Lee”, “Butterfly”, “Watermelon Man”, “Chameleon” and the 20 min long “Hang Up Your Hang Ups” like you’ve never heard them ! The sound is simply a-ma-zing and the beautiful insert is included. The records look both great, except that there are marks on “Maiden Voyage” causing some noise on 1/4 of the track, hence the price cut.
