Spiritual soul jazz with tablas and sitar, exotic psychedelic folk, hippie meditative experimentations… Recorded in New York in 1971, this album is an amazing release from the Arica Institute, an American mystic / religious organization. This music would have been perfect for the score of “The Holy Mountain” by Alejandro Jodorowsky, if you see what I mean. Jodo even admitted he first took LSD with Oscar Ichazo, founder of Arica, while he was shooting his movie.
