Two of the best tracks by Serge Gainsbourg, both arranged by Michel Colombier : “Breakdown” and “Générique” (the theme from “Si j’étais un espion”). A very fine groovy jazz from the late 60’s, which was used by Bertrand Blier as the score for his first movie. Check the wonderful beats / drama samples. Now become cult ! B-side has the classic and sensual “Sex Shop”, arranged by Jean-Claude Vannier. You may know that most of the Hortensia records by Gainsbourg were supposed to be destroyed… Only a few copies survived ! Top rare, last copy !
