Philippe Sarde is well known for his beautiful scores “La valise” or “Max et les ferrailleurs”. But this time he is more into funk, and this album could be linked to Francis Lai’s “Le corps de mon ennemi”… Two top funk tunes on this soundtrack : one uptempo track with an opening break (“Moulin à poivre”), and another killer midtempo jazz funk (“Carla”). Rarely seen and highly recommended !
