Ah a Qatari record -that is almost invisible- released to promote Cartier watches and jewelry, and Delsey luggages (one side of the sleeve for each brand). It was pressed in 1985 and features Qatari singer and composer Ali Abdel Sattar. I have been told that this music was also pressed as a promo record for a department store that sold perfume and accessories, and also as a special release for the participation of the national football team of Qatar to the Olympics in 1984 (never saw these two in my life I must say). The music is typical from the Gulf in the mid 80s, but it also has beautiful strings arrangements, good bass lines, and sometimes sounds like Bollywood. On top of it, it has some good samples for hip hop. The record is not super shiny on one side, but plays fine and the listening is really enjoyable.
