Wonderful jazz album from Romania, one side entirely filled with scat vocals, the other one with instrumental jazz ! Very similar to the Novi Singers, maybe sweeter, the scat side is just marvelous ! The highlight here is “Cercuri” with a dope electro break at the intro. On the other side, solid organ groove (“Nunta”, “Muguri sub zapada”) or organ swing (“Batuta”). I used to sell this album sevral times for 120 a few years ago, now I I put it on sale at a much more affordable price. Simply fantastic and terribly hard to find !
