Super rare Indian album, an experimental / jazz / fusion project led by Rajesh Jhaveri, here just called Rajesh, and involving some of the best jazz musicians of the era : Louis Banks on keyboard, Braz Gonsalves on saxophone, Hariprasad Chaurasia on flute, Ranjit Barot on drums, and Zakir Hussein on tabla. They are joined here by the finest Indian classical music masters, so the line-up is simply unbelievable ! Includes the amazing tracks “Makers of the River Crossing”, “Dawn, “Dance of the Gopis” or “Superstars”… Some dealers in India offer copies on auction sites at 2000, 3000 or 5000$ (!), we remain fair on this one. Great condition.
