Dope funk by this Philipino group. Really killer groove ! These young Philipinos were surely fed with Herbie Hancok, Kool & the Gang and Parliament, but I would say the sound is similar to what the US groups Miami and Hidden Strength did in the mid 70’s. Cool funk on “Please Yourself”, “Good Stuff” and “You Got the Power”, two monster tunes “Ego Trippin'” and “Flaming Lady” plus the club tune “I’m Gonna Take Care of Business” which is my favourite on this album.
